COVID-19 Update

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The rapidly changing COVID-19 pandemic is creating global and local challenges across all businesses, industries and communities. Our highest priority is the safety of our patients and their families, as well as our staff, doctors, and their families. We are following the recommendations of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society, as well as reviewing guidance from CDC to ensure the needs of our community are being met. The latest statements recommend that children in need of urgent/emergency care should be treated, while all elective care should be postponed. Urgent/emergency care means treatment of pain, swelling, trauma, and infection. Regular exam, hygiene and prophylaxis visits, cosmetic, and elective operative procedures should be considered non-urgent/non-emergency. We will therefore continue to be available for emergency care during this very dynamic situation – just call our office (847-869-5417) and you will be directed to our staff directly.
Like you, we are adapting to ensure everyone’s health and safety. We are committed to supporting public health and the government response to this outbreak and will continue to be there for you as we all navigate this situation.
